The same year she picked up a camera for the very first time, Chyla was asked to be the photo editor for
her school’s newspaper and yearbook (The Cougar Lair and Cascadian.)!
After finding her new talent and passion she sought a position in the field of photography. She worked
a season for Picture People in the downtown Salem Center Mall. She went through a vigorous training
program, then received a photography license for portrait taking. While there, she enhanced her picture taking
skills by taking portraits of families, babies, kids, and pets. She also learned how to develop and print
film.
Truly blessed with a natural talent for capturing the perfect moment, Chyla Lulay has expanded her
