12/12/2000 - Let's face it, console controllers take a lot of abuse. They get stepped on, tripped over, and all to often, thrown. Yes they, unlike their PC counterparts, are usually housed on the floor in the kids' room or somewhere between the coffee table and the TV. So the chances are, at some point, you'll be in the market for a new one. When shopping for a new controller I recommend you take a good look at the Barracuda 2.
This controller was used to dominate my victim on Madden 2000, NBA Live 2000, and Triple Play 2000.

Very comfortable grip! After hours of thrashing my hapless victim at Madden 2000, I experienced no hand or thumb fatigue---an obvious advantage of having a longer, more natural grip on the product. |

The controller was very user friendly. I was up and dominating in no time at all. The two levels of vibration feedback proved to be a nice accent to an already stellar experience. This unit just felt right! |

Interact wasn't messin' around with the Barracuda 2. They delivered a well constructed and cleverly designed product for the masses. This controller is dynamic, yet simple enough to pick up and start kickin' butt. If you don't want to have to worry about a controller, there is no reason why this bad boy shouldn't be plugged into the front of your system. |

Some soft rubber grips would be a welcome addition.

Paint the buttons so that they are easily distinguished. There is nothing worse than throwing a pass to
a triple covered Stokes when Rice is wide open for a score.
